About KTA

KTA is a young and growing structural engineering firm that focuses on collaborating with project stakeholders through clear communication, putting the interests of our project first, and producing excellent drawings of designs that meet the needs of our clients.

We are a work-from-home, family-oriented firm that encourages our employees to make their wellness a priority.  We collaborate with our employees to optimize their work schedules to support their personal and professional goals.  We understand that priorities change and actively seek to adapt to the needs of our employees.

Our work involves a wide array of different building types, including new structures, evaluations, and retrofits of existing buildings.  We work on all structural aspects of buildings from foundations to façades and use all building materials, including wood, masonry, reinforced concrete, and steel.  A significant portion of our work is on residential buildings, and we are actively expanding our work on commercial, multi-family, life-science, and medical buildings.  Our projects are small to medium-sized, and our team members typically work on several jobs at once.  Our firm leadership has a history of working on large and complex buildings and is leveraging that experience to manage our smaller jobs.  Our mix of projects provides one of the best training environments available to learn the technical basics, project management, and the business of structural engineering.
