Scope of work:

KTA provided full structural design for a two-story wood framed renovation.  The building was temporarily removed from its permanent location and a new cellar was dug out and installed prior to replacing the building in its permanent location.  Full scope of work includes:

• A new concrete cellar was installed that supports the existing wood building

• A wing of the house was torn down and reconstructed to create a double height pool room space

• The reconstructed wing was framed with steel moment frames to convert the walls of the wing to windows

• Exterior wall opening locations were reconfigured

• Exterior stairs were rebuilt

• An interior load bearing wall was removed and replaced with a steel beam
